The Youth group is a very active ministry
for kids in grades 5th through 12th and we invite all kids
from the community to join! The group has planned activities
such as bowling, participating in a youth-oriented video Bible
study, spending the afternoon in the recreation center, canoeing
on the Galena River and attending a Christian rock concert!
The group also has a mission to do good works in the community
and the world beyond. Heifer International has been the recipient
of thousands of dollars raised by St. Matthews Lutheran Youth
Group over the past few years! The group learns about God's
Word and how it can impact their lives.
